The mission was co-organised and hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, which took the lead in the kick-off meeting. The meeting was attended by representatives of other state agencies, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and international organisations working in the country. Detailed follow-up meetings were held with the regulatory commissions of both autonomous entities (Federation and Republika Srpska), chambers of foreign trade and economy, legal professionals and Public Enterprise Electric Utility Company of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Additional meetings included German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) with both having been very active in consulting the government in the energy sector for the last twenty years. All of these meetings helped the fact-finding mission team and will contribute significantly to the assessment process.
